1. Who are you?
2. How many languages do you speak?
3. Then, what languages do you teach?
4. What is the purpose of Language Bubble?
5. What is the perfect way to learn a language?
6. How can I improve my teaching?
7. What is planned for the future?
8. How can we contact you?

1. Language Bubble is run primarily by just the two of us – Andee Pollard and Nayoung Lee. We are a young couple with a strong interest in languages and have lived in several countries either studying or teaching language… and if we’re really lucky, we sometimes get to do both.

2. We only truly speak one language each! Nayoung speaks Korean and Andee speaks English. Nayoung also gets by pretty well in English and is currently fascinated with Japanese and Mandarin. Andee is continunally improving his Korean and Japanese, but has also been exposed to quite a few others from his constant linguistic research.

3. We both try to teach Korean and English… need help?

4. It’s a dream.
Personally, we’re a little tired of having to go to a few different websites to find all of our info. Lesson ideas are in one place and learning strategies are in another, so it was getting a little tiresome. Plus, on top of that it would be really nice to create a harmonious community where teachers and learners can come together and help each other.

5. Be born in that country and have two parents that speak that language.
If that’s not an option… be consistent in whatever you do. Remember, ‘a little, a lot’ is far superior to ‘a lot, a little’.

6. Outside of being in the classroom and discovering what works with your class, talk to other teachers and your students and actually listen to what they say. A different perspective always sheds new light.

7. There are quite a few things in development, but first up is to get Stage 1 of the site under control. That is building a resource centre for teachers and students and some shameless promotion so that people are aware of us. It’s also worth mentioning that if you have thoughts on what you would like to see here, the please let us know.

8. The easy option is to just leave a comment on the relevant post. Although, you can also send a text message to our skype account, which is “languagebubble”.
